Hello beautiful people my name is Latoya and welcome to my blog spot Unique To Me!
A little about my family I am a proud wife and mother of 5 children, but very soon that is about to change because we are expecting out 6th little one. My kids current ages are 8, 7, 5, 3, and 2 yrs old...oh yeah and I'm 8 months pregnant too.

Usually when I share my family stats with people I get the joy watching their faces give the following reactions shock, pity, amusement, horror, and lastly genuine happiness or appreciation.
Honestly the looks of shock are my favorite and the questions that follow even better.
So to answer my top fav questions and comments: "Wow that's a lot of kids!" "Do they all have the same daddy?", "When are yall gonna stop?", "Why so many kids?" And of course, "Is that your last one?"
Believe it or not I never really planned any of this. I never really planned on getting married at the age of 20. I never really planned leaving work to being a full time mom. I promise these were never my plans but a UNIQUE incident happened to me at the age of 17 caused a continuous interruption of any plans that I could ever make for myself. What was this UNIQUE incident you may ask? Coming the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ and accepting him as my Lord and Savior.
So there you have it ladies and gents Jesus did it.
Honestly it seems ever since this happen every plan I have ever tried to make for myself like joining the military right after high school
To meeting a really cute Navy guy from Detroit in Japan
Getting married 5 months later
To expecting our first child and having to make a major decision of leaving the military life
Although it was an honor to serve I'm thankful for the decision that was made.
